Ruth Tilley Birchem

Mrs. Ruth Margaret Tilley Birchem, age 86, of Martin, TN, died Friday, 08/09/2019, at VanAyer Healthcare & Rehab.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, 08/13/2019, at Murphy Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin, TN.  Visitation will be Tuesday after 10:00 AM until service time.

Mrs. Birchem was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church; she attended Sharon High School; she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Birchem is survived by two sons, Thomas (Sandy) Birchem, Dresden, TN, and Greg Lynn Birchem; two grandchildren, James Austin (Laura) Birchem, and Shannon Thomas (Tonya) Birchem, and several great grandchildren; a sister, Reba (Ronnie) Wade, Martin, TN; and a brother, Eric (Linda) Tilley, Trenton, TN.

Mrs. Birchem was preceded in death by a son, James Waymon Birchem, and her parents, John Buford and Willie Ruth Todd Tilley.
