Sarah Evelyn Jones

Mrs. Sarah Evelyn Rooks Jones, age 88, of Sharon, TN, died Saturday, 05/02/2020, at Diversicare Nursing and Rehab.

Graveside service will be Friday, May 8, 2020, 11:00 A.M. in Corinth Cemetery in Sharon with Bro. Stan Brooks officiating.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Sharon, TN.  She formally was a housekeeping manager for the University Lodge in Martin.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Jones and her son, Billy Harold Jones, and her parents, Herman Rooks and Bertha Wilbanks Archie; her step-father, Bill Archie.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Jerril (Deborah) Jones of Bolingbrook, IL; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne (Jeff Knoeck) Jones, Jerril Wayne (Emily) Jones, II, and Sarah Marie Washington; great-grandchildren, Donavin Jones, Connor Jones, Asia, Paxton Jones-Knoeck, CJ Syharath, Serenity Sloan and Sierra Sloan; great great-grandchild, Lilly Jones.
