Scott Elliott Coleman, Sr.

July 8, 1968 — June 13, 2026

Tullahoma, TN

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Elliott Coleman Sr., who left this world far too young at the age of 57.

Scott was a loving father, grandfather, family man, and friend whose kindness touched countless lives. He had a heart big enough to help anyone in need, never hesitating to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply be there when someone needed support. His generosity, compassion, and unwavering love for others defined the way he lived his life.

One of the greatest blessings of Scott's life was the love he shared with his wife, Angela Birchfield Coleman. Though their time together was far too short, she brought him happiness that was undeniable to everyone who knew him. She was his partner, his best friend, and someone he loved deeply with all his heart. The joy they found in each other was a gift, and the love they shared remained one of the brightest parts of his life. He cherished every moment they spent together and was grateful for the happiness, companionship, and love she brought into his world.

Above all else, Scott cherished his family. They were the center of his world and his greatest source of pride. His grandchildren, especially, brought him immeasurable joy. He adored them and treasured every moment spent with them. They were truly his pride and joy, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

Scott was known for his quick wit, intelligence, and wonderful sense of humor. He could make people laugh even during difficult times and had a way of bringing comfort and light wherever he went. Whether talking about sports, spending time with family, or helping a friend through a tough situation, Scott lived with purpose and heart.

Scott will be remembered for his loving spirit, his selflessness, his laughter, and the way he always showed up for the people he cared about. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, his legacy lives on through his family, his grandchildren, and all those whose lives were made better by knowing him. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten. His memory will continue to live on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely.

Scott loved the game of baseball and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #551 of Martin, TN.

He is survived by his wife; four children, Scott Elliott (Jessica) Coleman, Jr. of Wingo, Ky, Rachel Thomas of Ft. Payne, AL, Leanna (Jonathan) Epps of Smithfield, VA, Bryant Coleman of Ft. Payne, AL.; three stepchildren, Amanda (Justin) Molinari of Tullahoma, TN, Amberly (Nick) Hodges of Manchester, TN, and Anjelica (James) Dunn of Estill Springs, TN; nineteen grandchildren; his mother, Helen Coleman of Martin, TN; two brothers, Sandy (Missy) Coleman of Martin, TN, and Keith (Melissa) Coleman of Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John E. Coleman; and four grandparents.

A graveside service will be held at Eastside Cemetery in Martin, TN on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Friends and family are asked to join at the cemetery.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
