Steve Jahr

Mr. Steven Arlie Jahr, age 73, of Martin died Saturday, December 5, 2020, at McKenzie Healthcare Center.

Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, 12/13/2020, at the Martin Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Buddy Travis officiating.  Visitation will be after 1:00 PM until service time at the church.

Mr. Jahr is survived by his wife, Cathy Goodwin Jahr; his sons, Charlie (Tara) Jahr of Martin and Matthew Steven (Jaime) Jahr of Advance, MO; his mother, Margaret Barber Jahr of Mankato, MN; sister, Julie Montanez of Maple Grove, MN; brother, Tom (Donna) Jahr of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Kaine Jahr, Weston Jahr, Gabriel Jahr and Jacey Jahr; one great-grandchild, Casen Jahr.

Mr. Jahr was retired from The University of Tennessee at Martin Department of Public Safety where he served as assistant director.  He was a member of the Martin Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Noren A. Jahr.
