Mrs. Dorothy Sue Brownlow, age 89, died Monday, January 15, 2018, at The Arbors in Union City, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be Friday, January 19, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Maliel officiating. Burial will follow in Stanley Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 18, 2017, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of The Arbors at the Ethridge House in Union City.
Mrs. Brownlow was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Max Edward Brownlow; her parents, Eron Edward (E.E. Crip) Conley and Mary Lee Johnson Conley; one sister, Elizabeth Jane Conley Sanford; one brother, Edward Lee Conley.
Mrs. Brownlow was originally from Metuchen, New Jersey where she was vice president of Standard Tube Sales. She served as president of the New Jersey Women's Credit Association. She was a member of Stanley's Chapel First United Methodist Church and an associate member of Cennitary United Methodist Church in New Jersey.
She is survived by her two nieces, Becky (Cleo) Barnes of Union City and Sandy (Randy) Brundige of Martin; one great-nephew, Dr. Jared (Karen) Barnes of Nacogdoches, Texas; great-nieces, Elizabeth (Dr. Dustin) Parker of Union City, Carmen Brundige and Natalie Brundige both of Martin; two great great-nieces.
