Susan Teal Nichy

Mrs. Susan Michelle Teal Nichy, age 36, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at her residence in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 13, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at McConnell Baptist Church with Rev. Cody Barner officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00.

Mrs. Nichy is survived by her husband, Trey Nichy; her children, Ayden Nichy, Alianna Nichy, Valerie (Cory) Stewart and Cyndi Nichy; her parents, Mike and Donna Bratcher Teal all of Martin; brother, CJ (Jessica) Teal of Sidonia; grandson, Mayson Grant Stewart; paternal grandmother, Betty Teal; father-in-law, Albert Nichy; mother-in-law, Jackie Depriest; sister-in-law, Patricia Morrison; aunts, Connie Angle and Cheryl (Jim) Allen; uncles, Don (Becky) Teal, Robert (Judi) Bratcher and Walter (Tracy) Bratcher; great-aunt, Marge Scott.  She is survived by a niece, nephews and many cousins that she loved. 

Susan was a teacher and a member of First Baptist Church of Sharon.  She was a 2003 graduate of Westview High School and a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Dorotha Bratcher; her paternal grandfather, James E. Teal; her aunt and uncle, Deborah McCracken and Jim Bratcher.
