Sylvia June Parham Newton

Mrs. Sylvia June Parham Newton, age 87, died Friday, 11/20/2020, at Jackson Madison Co. Hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11/24/2020, at 1:00 PM at Central Baptist Church, Martin, TN, with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating, with burial to follow at Cate Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday at the church until service time.

Mrs. Newton was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church; she was retired secretary at UTM ; she was a graduate of Martin High School, class of 1951.

Mrs. Newton was preceded in death by her husband, Jerald D. Newton, a son, Mark Chirban, and her parents, Thelbert Wayne and Bessie Lee Cate Parham.

Mrs. Newton is survived by her daughters, Dawn Newton and Deborah (Donnie) Walker, both of Martin, TN; her sons, Keith (Brittany) Newton, Dresden, TN, Kelly (Lisa) Newton, Martin, TN, Joel (Teresa) Chirban, Rolla, MO; her step daughter, Kim (Shaun) Pyle, Du Quoin, IL; her step son, Jeff (Joyce) Newton, Camano Island, Wash; fifteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
