Mr. Ted Lee Taylor, age 59, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, April 22, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, or after 12 Noon on Sunday until funeral time.
Pallbearers are Randy Rushing, Larry Rushing, Ricky Edwards, Mike Simmons, Greg Forrester and Steve Manns. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Tidwell, Joe B. Hankins, Tony Wade, Jay Insco and Alex Insco.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Lanette Lynch Taylor of Martin; two sons, Christopher Taylor of Martin and Channing (Lakin) Taylor of Medina, TN; brother, Larry (Patricia) Taylor of Martin; two grandchildren, Leighton Taylor and Caigen Taylor.
He was a graduate of Westview High School and The University of Tennessee at Martin. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and he worked for MTD. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Byars Taylor and Bertha Garner Taylor.
