Thomas Edward Birchem

Mr. Thomas Edward Birchem, age 63, of Fire Tower Rd, Dresden, TN, died Friday, 11/29/2019, at St. Frances Hospital, Cape Girardeau, MO.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12/04/2019, at 1:00 PM at Murphy Funeral Home, with Rev Terry Griffin and Rev Billy Moody officiating, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery, Martin, TN. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday until service time.

Mr. Birchem was a Baptist; he was a driver for Tosh Farms; he was a graduate of Dresden High School.

Mr. Birchem is survived by his wife, Sandy Hill Birchem, Dresden, TN; his sons, Shannon Birchem(Tonya), Holiday, TN, and Austin Birchem(Laura), Martin, TN; a step daughter, Christy Gordon, Dresden, TN; and step sons, Matt McClanahan, Bay City, TX, and Joseph McClanahan(Cassie), Draffenville, KY; several grandchildren; and a brother, Greg Lynn Birchem, and father-in-law Elgie D. Hill, Dukedom, TN.

Mr. Birchem was preceded in death by his brother James Waymon Birchem, and his parents, James Birchem  and Ruth Margaret Tilley Birchem.
