Dr. Tom Gallien, age 79, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the church prior to the funeral service.

Dr. Gallien is survived by his wife, Mollie Schleich Gallien of Martin; his children, Tommy (Michelle) Gallien of Martin, TN, and Daye (Eddie) Vaughn of Cleveland, MS, John (Sara) Gallien of Springdale, AR, Bob (Beth) Gallien of Chattanooga, TN, Ray (Carrie) Radford of Medina TN, and Mike Radford of Martin TN; his brother, Dr. John Gallien of Savannah, TN; and nine grandchildren, Alex Gallien, Ethan Gallien, Luke Gallien, Anna Claire Gallien, Ava Gallien, Grant Gallien, Selah Gallien, Allie Schneeerger and John Walker Radford. Two great-grandchildren, Scottie Schneeberger and Roman Alexander Gallien, and an honorary grandson, Shannon Sawyers.

Dr. Gallien was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gallien (married March 12th, 1967); his parents, Glenn S. Gallien, Sr. and Mary Belle Hurst Gallien; and his brothers, Dr. Glenn Gallien, Jr. and Mark Gallien.

Dr. Gallien was a dentist in Martin for 46 years. He was a graduate of Martin High School, the University of Tennessee at Martin, and the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Martin Masonic Lodge #551 and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin.

After retirement, Tom found time for all the things he loved like, teaching photography classes at the University of Tennessee Martin, Travel, Family Trips, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, and founding the Northwest Tennessee Photography Club.
