Walter K. Lamb

Mr. Walter K. Lamb, age 89, of Martin TN, died Tuesday,11/26/2019 at VanAyer Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 30, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Mathis and Rev. Wayne Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow in West Union Cemetery near Dresden.  Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lamb was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church; he was retired from Martin Brothers Timber and Container Corp.

Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Edith Avonell Kirby Lamb, Martin, TN; three sons, David (Janet) Lamb, South Fulton, TN, Steve (Jane) Lamb, Alamo, KY, and Jerry (Laura) Lamb, Camden, TN; seven grandchildren,  11 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Relma Williams, Midwest City, OK, and Melba Shaffer, Sandwich, IL.

Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by two brothers, B.J. and Paul Lamb; two sisters, Stella Keeton and Elsie Herron; and his parents, Hubert and Hattie Sutherland Lamb.
