Mr. William F. Bennett, age 82, and a resident of Martin, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his residence.

William was born on November 16, 1943, to the late Ray Bennett and Hazel Brooks Alexander.
He was an active member at Gardner Church of Christ, and a retired truck driver and diesel mechanic of Bennett Trucking

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anna Bennett of Martin, TN; three children, William (Tammie) Humphrey of Arlington, TN, Dedra (Randy) Jowers of Martin, TN and Michelle (Mike) Brundige of Martin, TN; five grandchildren, Austin (Sarah) Jowers of Atlanta, GA, Amanda Jowers of Denver, CO, Ashley Humphrey of Arlington, TN, Rebecca (Ralph) Turnbow of Martin, TN and Andrew (Ashley) Brundige of Union City, TN; thirteen great-grandchildren, Claire Jowers of Atlanta, GA, Hank Jowers of Atlanta, GA, Olivia Warren of Denver, CO, Vivianne Warren of Denver, CO, Nate Humphrey of Arlington, TN, Addie Mettler of Arlington, TN, Dylan Brundige of Martin, TN, Jacob Durham of Dresden, TN, Hudson Durham of Dresden, TN, Bella Turnbow of Dresden, TN, Blaize Turnbow of Dresden, TN, MJ Turnbow of Dresden, TN, Charolette Brundige of Union City, TN, and William Brundige of Union City, TN; and one great-great-grandson, Beau Alexander Brundige.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Ann Bennett.

There will be no services held at this time, and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
