Winston Thurman

Mr. Winston Ray Thurman, age 73, of Martin died Monday, December 21, 2020, at his residence.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 11:00 AM in East Side Cemetery with Rev. Terry Griffin officiating.  Family and friends may assemble in the cemetery at 10:45 AM.

Pallbearers will be Ronald Plunk, Thomas Nash, Norman Brown, James Reed, Aron Morris and Bill Thompson.

Mr. Thurman is survived by his wife, Judy Hazlewood Thurman; two sons, Edward Thurman, Martin, TN; and Steven (Becky) Thurman  of Sharon, TN; one brother, Terry (Debora) Thurman of Bartlett, TN; two grandchildren, Damon Thurman and Aubree Thurman; three step-grandchildren, Kenneth Hatchel, Kimberly Hatchel and Kody Hatchel.

Mr. Thurman was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.  He was a veteran, U.S. Army, and was a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Robert Thurman and Doris Mae Barner Thurman; one sister, Sandra Lynn Thurman Winston; his niece, Janie Lynn Winston.
